Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to install and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Trouble shoots for electrical problems and repairs all general equipment.

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Read circuits of the flip-flop, decoding, delay and counter types basic electronic subject such as Zener diodes, transistors characteristics, and server control circuits, power supply regulation.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system

Maintain all lights in plant, repair, and replace as needed. Maintain all electrical equipment to OSHA standards. Must perform preventative maintenance to power supply and large motor starters.

Help install new equipment, run conduit, pull wire and wire controls. Change out motors, capacitors, tach feed back rails, amp meters, etc.

Ensures team awareness of, and compliance with, TapeCraft’s Environmental, Quality, Health, Safety & 5S objectives, polices & programs, and relevant procedures.

Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience: 

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
