Casual Educator – Busy Bees at Geelong West
Location: 151 Church Street, Geelong West, VIC 3218
Licensed Capacity: 137 children
Hourly Rate: $35.35 – $43.54 per hour (WT Level 2.1–3.4, including 25% casual loading)
About the Role
Busy Bees at Geelong West is seeking passionate and reliable Casual Educators to join our warm and dedicated team. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to work across multiple age groups in a supportive environment.
As a Casual Educator, you will:
Support permanent educators with daily routines and activities across all rooms.
Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Deliver engaging experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Contribute to the centre’s strong team culture and uphold Busy Bees’ high-quality standards.
What You’ll Need
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
Current Working with Children Check (Employee – VIC).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education.
