Responsibilities:

Ensuring that the company’s operations are fully compliant with environmental regulations, obtaining necessary environmental clearances, and ensuring the company’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

Environmental Clearance & Compliance Management:
o Lead the process of obtaining Environmental Clearance for the company’s operations and ensure timely and effective completion of all required procedures.
o Coordinate with internal teams, government agencies, and external consultants to ensure that all environmental permissions and clearances are obtained efficiently and in compliance with local and national laws.
o Ensure that the company’s operations adhere to all applicable environmental and safety laws and best practices.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Relationship Management:
o Manage relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders involved in environmental matters.
o Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Safety, Legal, and Compliance) to ensure smooth communication and collaboration on environmental issues.
o Foster cooperative relationships with local authorities, environmental agencies, and industry groups to maintain a positive reputation for the company.
• Regulatory Awareness & Risk Management:
o Stay updated on the latest environmental regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to the industry and region.
o Anticipate regulatory changes and communicate their potential impact to internal stakeholders, ensuring that the company remains proactive in adapting to changes.
o Identify environmental risks related to operations and propose mitigation measures to ensure compliance and minimize environmental impact.
• Environmental Training & Awareness:
o Ensure that all internal colleagues are well-informed about relevant environmental laws, regulations, and best practices.
o Conduct internal training sessions and workshops to raise awareness about environmental issues and safety standards.
o Promote a culture of environmental responsibility within the company, ensuring that sustainability is integrated into daily operations.
• Industry Representation & Corporate Image:
o Represent the company at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and other public events focused on environmental issues.

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
• A degree in the related job field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.
