Responsibilities
The Intern-GOSO will report to the GOSO - Team Leader and will work with a team to provide critical capabilities for Eli Lilly & Company’s sales forces. These capabilities may include sales force sizing, sales force structure, territory alignment design and maintenance, field call planning support,
Key accountabilities will include the following:
Data Management:
Automate excel-based operations to SQL/Python for improving processing turn-around time, and set-up quality assurance procedures
Process data on AWS, sourced from varied data sources following the standard operating procedure documents
Understand the current data architecture within GOSO and deliver ad-hoc data pulls and low/medium complexity analysis
Validate data quality and accuracy of the results of existing processes
Collate information and maintain field dashboards with relevant documents, field announcements, trainings, and links
Business Processes:
Standardize and own capability-focused activities such as quarterly tool enhancement requests review, business rules, alignment change requests, sales force counts, field query volume, etc.
Have foundational experience in setting up project management software, leadership dashboard and good practices
Process maps creation and update working in collaboration with existing team members
Project artefacts and data/files storage-location standardization
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Essential Skills
Experience in writing code (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python)
Should understand sales planning processes for sales force
Strong learning agility
Strong analytical mindset
Excellent communication (written & verbal)
Prioritization skills
Strong attention to detail
High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
Good focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning
Experience in business analysis
