Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Control Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in control systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation, instrumentation, and industrial control systems, including robotics integration and machine safety. This role involves supporting manufacturing operations, resolving breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities Technical Execution & Troubleshooting- Design, implement, and troubleshoot control systems using Siemens TIA Portal, Schmersal Safety PLC, and servo drives.
- Perform diagnostics and maintenance on ABB, Yaskawa, and Fanuc robots.
- Use Robot Studio for simulation and programming.
- Conduct robot teaching, breakdown analysis, and preventive maintenance.
- Integrate robotic systems with automation equipment such as conveyors, vision systems, and PLCs.
- Apply safety practices including LOTO, HIRA, and machine safety protocols.
- Understand and comply with ISO, ANSI/RIA, and other safety standards related to robotics and automation.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and report hazards or incidents promptly.
- Use Why-Why analysis and other problem-solving techniques to resolve issues.
- Apply cost-saving techniques in daily operations.
- Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
- Participate in TPM and continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and support staff.
- Assist in training and development of junior technicians.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and service tools.
- Travel to customer sites for support and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education.
- Vocational diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation (Preferred).
- May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Required:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in control systems and robotics.
- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, servo drives, and robotic systems (ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc).
- Knowledge of automation integration, machine safety, and industrial standards.
- Strong logic-building and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Robot Studio and robotic programming.
- Familiarity with Schmersal Safety PLCs and safety system design.
- Exposure to cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
