Looking to jump into an exciting hands-on, technical career working with machines? Goodfish Group might have just the thing for you! We're on the hunt for a Trainee Injection Moulding Setter at our Worcester site.
You will be supported with both internal and external training. The external training takes place at a specialist polymer training centre, leading to industry recognised qualifications. The course is a mix of theory and practical application sessions, to provide a good understanding of the injection moulding process and associated working practices. Outputs:
- Carry out daily machine safety checks and report any faults
- Ensure that machine start up, re-start and shut down processes are followed
- Assist with tool changes including; tool preparation, cleaning, material preparation
- Ensure that machines have sufficient material
- Operating, control and monitoring of jobs running
- Take part in fault finding and problem solving of production processes
- Carry out effective housekeeping
Person Specification:
- Hands on and interested in technical processes/engineering
- IT skills would be an advantage
- You will have a problem solving mindset and ability to communicate within a team environment
- A conscientious attitude to work and willingness to learn
- Energy, with an eagerness to learn, progress and develop new skills

Hours:
You will be employed to work 40 hours per week.
Our setters work variable shifts depending on demand and take a flexible approach. A typical shift would be 8 hours between 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 (rotating shifts)
