Key Responsibilities
- Leading the development of features that capture complex market dynamics within Aurora’s models
- Work closely with our Research and Advisory teams to derive insights from model results
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of how the modelling team operates
- Managing a team of junior colleagues and supporting their development
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing models or software in a commercial environment
- Management experience
- Problem-solving skills and analytical ability
- Fluent English (C1 level or above) - Please send your CV in English
- Relevant PhD
- Experience in the field of mathematical optimization (Linear Programming, Dynamic programming, MIP etc.) in a commercial environment
- Experience of developing power market models
- Good Python programming skills
- Deep interest in power markets
