Key Responsibilities
- Supporting audit fieldwork and assisting in managing workflow within the audit team.
- Preparing audit documentation and contributing to client deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
- Helping to identify key issues during audits and suggesting practical, well-reasoned solutions.
- Assisting in the development of junior team members through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day queries.
- Developing your understanding of technical compliance and contributing to advisory projects as your experience grows.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
- Previous experience in an audit role within practice, ideally involving client-facing work
- Good understanding of audit principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator who can build rapport with clients and colleagues at all level
- Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Proactive approach to learning, professional development, and taking on new challenges
