Position Summary: The Seasonal Support position provides short-term, flexible assistance to both the counseling and school operations teams during peak enrollment or transition periods. This role ensures timely and accurate support in student services, data management, communications, and administrative functions to maintain a high-quality experience for students and families.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: 

  • Accredited Senior High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma/GED (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)


Experience

  • Two years of office experience with a focus on recordkeeping with experience in maintenance of student records in a public school environment (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience working in education (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Public School PEIMS Secretary, Registrar or Office Support Personnel (preferred)
  • Experience with office support for an online school (preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity and knowledge of basic “netiquette” for online and e-mail communication is (preferred)
  • Must have familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Suite of applications
  • Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following is PEIMS, TRex, SIS, Buzz Learning Management System, and Google suite of applications (preferred
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions ensuring attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, while prioritizing tasks daily
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, office team, teachers, administration, and outside district personnel


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Process received academic records and create academic achievement records in the SIS.
  • Request records for newly enrolled students via the TRex state system and share records of withdrawn students with requesting districts.
  • Create and maintain physical and digital records for all enrolled students.
  • Fulfill transcript requests via Parchment.
  • Enter EOC, TSI, ACT, SAT, AP testing history.
  • Testing Administrator for in-person and online proctoring for iSVA students.
  • Enter AT-Risk Attributes in SIS.
  • Support Enrollment team with data entry and records management.
  • Communicate regularly with faculty, staff, administration, students, and families.
  • Special projects assigned by Director or Operations.
  • Attend team meetings as requested.
  • Other office duties as assigned.
