OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM TEACHER - Creekside Middle School (INTERNAL ONLY) bei Patterson Joint Unified School District

Under the direct supervision of the site Principal, provides the instruction, supervision, and other related tasks of a self-contained classroom of students placed in the Opportunity Program due to behavior or attendance difficulties. The goal of the Opportunity Program is centered on developing a positive classroom climate conducive to improving student behaviors and attendance while meeting their academic needs.

Education: • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) • Valid CA Multiple Subject teaching credential with embedded EL authorization or CLAD Experience: • A minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience • Training in the area of at-risk student populations (preferred)

Additional stipends for advanced degree(s) may apply. In addition, District offers year for year credit for all verified public teaching experience, including longevity. District pays $10,800/$11,400/$12,000 annual benefit cap (single/2-party/family)
