Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?
- Field audits of safety procedures for compliance
- Fleet safety and Driver coaching
- Training of critical safety policies and procedures
- Lead periodic Safety Committee meetings
- Pre-plan startup job-site safety assessments.
- Perform written job-site safety inspections and policy reviews and take immediate corrective action as assigned.
- Give reprimands to employees who are not following the safety guidelines
- Investigation of accidents and immediate filing of reports in accordance with the E&K Safety Systems.
- Monitor the medical treatment and status of injured employees until they are fully released and/or the claim is closed, with the HR Manager.
- Filing and maintaining the employee Medical/Confidential files.
- Identify needs and make recommendations for safety equipment and PPE.
- Provide required safety orientation for newly hired employees.
- Provide required safety training for all employees on an ongoing basis.
- Attend OSHA inspections, informal conferences, and DOT conferences and compliance reviews as assigned.
- Coordinate any safety awards program
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
- 3+ years in on-the-job Safety Director experience
- Experience in the construction or home service industries a definite plus
- Familiar with OSHA recommendations and requirements
- Experience with Service Titan preferred
