This is a laboring position based out of Perryville, MO. An ideal candidate is interested in producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. They must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. They must be highly organized with attention to detail and be able to perform critical thinking and problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Start up and stop equipment/machinery
· Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies.
· Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
· Ensure conformance to product/process specifications
· Pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the line.
· Mark parts for identification
· Measure length of article
· Accurately record data.
· Package finished products for shipping.
· General housekeeping including cleaning production area.
· Must arrive on time, with a positive attitude and ready for work.
· Must be able to take direction from production Supervisors/Managers.
· Must be able to work in a “Team” oriented environment.
· Complete all work assignments in a timely manner.
· Must respect all company property.
· Demonstrate the safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools, machines and equipment.
· Understand and abide by company policies and procedures.
· Understand and observe all company safety policies and procedures including wearing all required PPE
· Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
· Light to moderately heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping.
· Must be able to stand at work station for extended periods of time.
· Required to walk continuously during shift.
· Must be able to constantly reach with both hands and arms.
· Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
· Must be able to withstand a noisy, dusty environment.
· Must be able to work in both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.
