The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is the nation's largest regional education agency and supports 80 public school districts and numerous other agencies in ensuring educational excellence for the region's two million preschool and school-age children.

Assist LACOE with the implementation of the Business Enhancement System Transformation (BEST) Project for 97 Los Angeles County educational agencies (i.e., a mix of K-12 School Districts, Community Colleges, Charter Schools, and Joint Powers Authorities) that must be fully implemented and in production of the new  Advantage System – Human Capital Management (HCM) by no later than June 30, 2027.

Job duties include assisting districts with Advantage HCM System and online document processing; supporting district system users in processing documents such as entering New Hires, Tax, Pension, Direct Deposit or Time Sheets. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work with district personnel in support of the Advantage System, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high pace environment. Additional related duties may also be assigned as needed. The standard work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime possible when necessary. Candidates selected must be able to travel to school sites to provide in-person support.

Regional Availability
Applicants must complete a supplemental questionnaire detailing their regional availability. This information will be used to determine candidates' ability to support school sites across various locations as part of the BEST Project. Ensuring an accurate and up-to-date regional availability will help facilitate effective placement and in-person support for the Advantage HCM System implementation.

Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in industrial psychology, organizational development, public administration, human resources, business administration, sociology, or applied statistics is preferred, along with one year of Excel experience. Prior experience or knowledge of Human Resources, Time & Leave Management and Payroll is preferred.

Additional Requirements: Individuals must either possess a valid driver’s license with access to private transportation or demonstrate the ability to reliably travel between job sites using alternative means.
