Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, values-driven Vice President of People Operations to lead our Human Resources function and drive a high-performance, meritocratic culture across our organization. As a wholly owned subsidiary of a leading healthcare enterprise, we operate with agility and a commitment to quality, operational excellence, and integrity. The VP of People Operations will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that support our mission, values, and business goals.

 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive People Operations strategy aligned with organizational goals and healthcare industry best practices.
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion a culture of performance, meritocracy, and continuous improvement while fostering employee engagement and inclusion.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
  • Performance Management: Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems that reward excellence and drive accountability.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Ensure competitive, equitable, and performance-based compensation and benefits programs.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Optimize HR systems and processes for scalability and efficiency, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and healthcare regulations.
  • Leadership Coaching & Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Internal Communications: Lead and align internal communications strategies to ensure transparency, consistency, and employee connection to organizational goals and values.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proven success in leading HR in a mid-sized organization (500–2,000+ employees), ideally within a subsidiary or matrixed environment.
  • Strong track record of building high-performing teams and driving cultural transformation.
  • Expertise in organizational development, talent strategy, and HR technology.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and change management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
