Senior Project Managers are responsible for managing all of the construction activity within their assigned communities. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for providing guidance, coaching and leadership to Production employees in their respective division.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and train assigned Production staff in all aspects of the construction process
- Monitor all construction activity, including reviewing Schedule Pro templates for accuracy and correct sequencing
- Enforce scheduling, house readiness, phase completion, and the quality of workmanship by reviewing job sites with the Production staff to ensure that a 100% complete, high quality home is delivered on time to every customer
- Participate in community team meetings and review timely feedback for assigned communities to ensure we deliver an exceptional Customer Experience
- Ensure community costs are in line with established goals
- Lead training and onboarding of trade partners
- Obtain and document governmental inspections as needed and represent company at such inspections
- Ensure that all Federal and State safety requirements are met and that all trade partners are in compliance with applicable safety requirements
- Liaise with utility companies for installation and hookup of gas, electric, water lines, and meters
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as Project Manager
