What You’ll Do

As part of our Epic EHR team, you’ll:

• Develop, implement, and support Epic Beaker and Bugsy applications
• Translate clinical and business needs into smart, scalable EHR solutions
• Design workflows, configure systems, and train staff on Epic functionality
• Analyze procedures, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements aligned with federal patient safety and quality initiatives
• Collaborate with clinical and business teams to build strong, solution-driven partnerships
• Ensure 24/7 system support through testing, documentation, and maintenance

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Lab-related certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare experience
• Preferred: Experience in hospital or clinical IT settings, especially with Epic deployments
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and IT systems
• Hands-on experience with Epic clinical systems, especially in lab, microbiology, or pathology environments

Licensure/Certification

• Current Epic certifications in Bugsy and Beaker (Anatomical & Clinical Pathology)
• OR willingness to complete Epic training and certification within 60 days post-training
• All certifications must be kept current

• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
