Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations to architect, optimize, and scale our integrated supply chain and warehouse infrastructure. This role will be responsible for supply chain planning, procurement, fulfillment, and warehouse operations; including our U.S.-based facility, global vendor relationships, and internal warehouse services team that manages pre-provisioning, equipment refurbishment, and order fulfillment.
The Director will be a strategic operator accountable for building resilient supply chain processes that support rapid growth, reduce costs, enhance our customer experience and enable efficient field operations. This is a high visibility leadership role with significant impact across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy & Procurement
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
- Manage purchasing and vendor coordination for materials, components, and finished goods.
- Oversee the relationship with our contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, cost, lead time, and delivery performance align with business goals.
- Coordinate inbound logistics, import/export compliance, and international shipping.the role
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment
- Oversee daily operations of our U.S.-based warehouse(s), which function as both a central node for shipping/receiving and provisioning operations.
- Ensure efficient handling of all inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, kitting, packaging, and last-mile fulfillment.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse safety.
Warehouse Services Oversight
- Direct the Warehouse Services function, which includes:
- Preprovisioning of hardware and devices for customer deployment.
- Refurbishment and reconditioning of returned equipment.
- Inventory and asset lifecycle management, throughput optimization, and SLA tracking.
- Drive process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and throughput across warehouse services.
Technology, Systems & Automation
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supply chain and warehouse management systems (ERP, WMS, inventory platforms).
- Identify and drive automation initiatives to streamline operations and improve visibility across the supply chain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Finance, IT, Customer Success) to ensure alignment on forecasts, service requirements, and strategic initiatives.
- Play a key role in operational readiness for new product introductions and geographic expansion.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team across supply chain and warehouse services.
- Set clear KPIs, manage performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Track record of delivering cost efficiencies and EBITDA improvements through supply chain and operations optimization.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics management, including:
- Procurement and fulfillment operations
- International vendor/CM management
- Shipping and receiving logistics
- At least 3 years in a director-level (or equivalent) role with cross-functional leadership responsibility.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep knowledge of supply chain and warehouse best practices, including demand planning, inventory control, and global logistics.
- Proven success managing international vendors and contract manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, and related logistics technologies.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets and full P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings while maintaining or improving service levels.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable managing complex operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
