Limited Term Maintenance Technician (Floater – Madison Area)
Hours: 25–29 per weekLocation: Various Section 42 senior and multi-family properties within the Madison area
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician (LTE Floater) to support multiple properties across the Madison area. This limited-term role offers a flexible schedule of 25–29 hours per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work environment and takes pride in maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-functioning living spaces.
As a floater, you will assist with day-to-day maintenance operations at several Section 42 senior and multi-family housing communities. Responsibilities include performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and occasional renovations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition and that residents receive prompt, high-quality service.

What You’ll Do
- Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Assist with unit turnovers and renovations
- Respond to service requests professionally and promptly
- Maintain clean, safe workspaces across assigned properties
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in building or property maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different property needs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
