Summary/Objective
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that the process runs smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The Production Manager works closely with all production departments to ensure production targets are met and the highest quality standards are maintained.
Essential Functions

- Plan, organize, and direct manufacturing operations to ensure the most effective return on assets.
- Develop and implement production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands and minimize production costs.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure that production targets are met.
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure effective employee relations by providing coaching and development.
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Work to continuously improve production areas.
- Manage Quality Deficiency Reports.
- Track absenteeism and timekeeping.

Required Education and Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory management experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management or similar field.
- Previous supervisory management experience.
- OSHA Certified (Safety)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Scheduled hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however additional hours and weekend work may be frequently required as job duties demand.
