The Director Organizational Effectiveness leads the Organizational Effectiveness team responsible for strategic workforce planning. This function partners with executive business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives. The Director Organizational Effectiveness is also responsible for identifying workforce trends, developing leadership capabilities, and implementing change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Organizational Effectiveness Consultants, fostering development and high-performing teams.
- Provide guidance and development to Managers and consultants as they advise executive clients on workforce strategies and leverage tools developed by centers of expertise.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to inform decision-making and collaborate with centers of expertise to proactively address enterprise challenges.
- Collaborate across People functions to ensure alignment, effective partnerships, and continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
- Partner with executive clients to develop and execute strategic workforce plans that anticipate future trends and business needs.
- Advise executive leaders on talent strategies, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement strategies and organizational design.
- Facilitate executive coaching to enhance leadership skills and effectiveness. Operates as a strategic advisor empowering leaders to shift mindsets, drive culture change and execute transformation with clarity.
- Lead and integrate change management methodologies to support organizational initiatives.
- Champion an inclusive culture and drive solutions that maximize organizational impact.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in related field or equivalent practical experience; master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of HR business consulting/partnership experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in strategic workforce planning, organizational development, and leadership and consulting.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience leading and implementing large-scale project management and change management methodologies.
- The ability to influence as a consultant, empowering executive leaders through organizational business transformation. Challenges the status quo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively lead leaders, individual contributors, and self.
- Travel about 20% of the time.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
