Job Expectations
Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A bit about your role
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Business Analyst to join our Product Development and Process Transformation team on a two-year fixed term. Reporting to the Executive Manager Product Development and Process Transformation, this role will support the Products and Pricing function by contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives and leading small to medium process improvement projects.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we bring products to market and refine our internal processes, helping to deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and communities. Your work will span product development, go-to-market strategy, and change management, with a strong focus on data-driven insights and collaborative problem-solving. You’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, clarity and continuous improvement, and your ability to map processes, manage documentation and analyse business performance will be central to our success.
A bit about you
You’re someone who brings both experience and empathy to the table, with proven experience in business analysis, process improvement or continuous improvement roles. You’re confident navigating complex systems and data environments, with hands-on knowledge of tools like Signavio, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Python, Power BI, Starburst and SQL.
You communicate with ease across all levels of the organisation, and your approach is grounded in flexibility, diplomacy and a genuine desire to make things better. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision, and you bring a thoughtful, inclusive mindset to everything you do. If you’re ready to help shape the future of nbn’s product and process landscape, we’d love to hear from you.
