The stipend is to cover the responsibilities of the Prob 28 VAPA Coordinator position that remains unfilled; and, there is an urgent need to support the VAPA programs at the middle schools, high schools, and alternative education programs to develop their 2025-2026 plans, and implement their past years' plans Terms: 1. The District shall create (2) VAPA coordinator stipends of $12,000 each. 2. One stipend shall support middle schools and alternative education programs, and the other shall support the high schools. 3. Additionally, these two positions shall be provided up to two (2) release days a month through February, 2026 in order to meet with site VAPA departments and administrators to facilitate the implementation of the plans. 4. The job description for the VAPA Coordinator shall be used to guide this work for these stipends. 5. These stipend VAPA Coordinators shall report to the Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services along with the Director of Educational Services. 6. The District will ensure that all site administrators are aware of these positions and support the facilitation of the meetings and completion of the plans.
