Anticipated Third Grade Teacher bei East Stroudsburg Area School District

This teaching position will be available immediately.  The salary will be in accordance with the current Professional Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania Elementary K-6, Early Childhood and/or Grades PK-4 Instructional I or II Certificate for teaching elementary classroom programs.

Further Qualifications include the following:

1. Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards  and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information,
2. Highly developed classroom management and problem solving skills,
3. Strong technology background, with the emphasis on student learning and professional growth
4. Experience/orientation for Special Education/IEP process and requirements,
5. Ability to creatively prepare, communicate, and present effective instructional strategies with the understanding and empathy for students and the assigned level.
