The Role
As the Head of Parking Product, you will define and lead the roadmap for Wayve’s Parking product line - advancing the systems and capabilities that enable intelligent, low-speed manoeuvring and autonomous parking within Wayve’s end-to-end driving platform.
You will shape the product vision and strategy for Parking across assisted and automated driving levels, ensuring safety, scalability, and seamless integration into the AI Driver. Working closely with AI, systems, hardware, and OEM integration teams, you will guide how parking capabilities evolve from assisted experiences to full autonomy.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that combines deep product expertise, technical understanding, and strategic partnership with OEMs. You will lead a team of product experts and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet customer and program expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and deliver Wayve’s parking roadmap, building reliable, scalable, and production-ready systems that enhance low-speed autonomy and driver convenience.
- Translate OEM requirements, market insights, and integration needs into clear, prioritised product specifications.
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision that connects today’s assisted functionality with future fully autonomous parking experiences.
- Partner with internal AI, systems, and hardware teams to ensure robust design, validation, and seamless integration into the Wayve end-to-end stack.
- Collaborate closely with OEM and partner teams to align on product goals, vehicle integration strategies, and validation approaches that deliver a best-in-class parking experience.
- Lead OEM and Tier-1 engagement throughout the full lifecycle — from RFQs and concept definition to validation and SOP.
- Drive structured decision-making that balances innovation, complexity, and delivery timelines.
- Manage and grow a cross-functional team of product and engineering professionals, fostering alignment, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
About you
In order to set you up for success as the Head of Parking Product at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
Essential
- Proven track record of delivering Parking or low-speed automation systems to production with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Demonstrated expertise in V-model product development, from concept through SOP, including definition, validation, and launch.
- Deep understanding of vehicle-level system integration, low-speed control, and software-hardware interaction for automated driving.
- Knowledge of automotive safety and regulatory frameworks, including ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ISO/PAS 21448 (SOTIF), and UNECE WP.29.
- Strong experience working with OEMs and responding to RFQs, managing customer requirements and integration programmes.
- Leadership experience building and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends, customer needs, and product evolution.
- Proficiency in tools and methodologies related to product planning, roadmapping, and release management.
Desirable
- Experience with AI-based driving systems, simulation or virtual validation, and large-scale data-driven development.
- Familiarity with autonomous driving architectures, safety case development, and homologation processes.
- Experience with large-scale validation, fleet learning, or real-world data pipelines for improving parking performance and reliability.
- Understanding of in-vehicle user experience and system-level design considerations for automated parking handover and control.
This is a full-time role based in our office in London, Leonberg or Tel Aviv. At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home. We operate core working hours so you can determine the schedule that works best for you and your team.
