About the Role: 

Suzano is looking for a Storeroom Manager to join our team at our Pine Bluff, AR facility. This role is essential in ensuring efficient inventory control, effective storeroom operations, and timely material support to all operational units. You will play a key role in managing all inventory-related processes, including General Shutdowns and support for Capex and Maintenace, Repair and Operations.  

What You’re Going to Do 

  • Manage, develop, and implement strategy, policy, procedures, and system solutions for the storeroom and inventory operations. 
  • Lead materials management efforts related to Services, Raw Materials, MRO, Waste Sales, Capex items, and Obsolete Assets for Packaging. 
  • Support the planning and execution of General Shutdowns from a storeroom and inventory perspective. 
  • Align with the Procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels and service levels to internal customers. 
  • Develop and manage storeroom staff, fostering a results-oriented, innovative, and productive environment. 
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations using key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Set goals and strategies for inventory cost reduction and optimization. 
  • Assist in the preparation and control of the annual expense and investment budget. 
  • Monitor service delivery levels and ensure compliance with internal SLAs. 
  • Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to drive collaboration and innovation. 
  • Encourage participation in team meetings and cross-functional working groups. 

 

What We Expect from You 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field). 
  • 5+ years of experience in storeroom/inventory management within an industrial or manufacturing environment. 
  • SAP experience, especially with SAP MM / WM modules. 
  • Knowledge of Project Management and Negotiation fundamentals. 
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Standards (ISO – OHSAS). 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. 
  • Strong experience in team leadership and people development. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
