About the role

We’re seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses across a range of specialties to join a respected health system in Fairbanks, Alaska on a three-year contract.

As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. You’ll work in a facility known for its strong nurse-to-patient ratios, trauma care excellence, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities 

• Provide direct, high-acuity patient care in accordance with ICU protocols, clinical standards, and evidence-based practices
• Administer critical medications, monitor complex vital signs, and manage advanced therapies including IV infusions, ventilators, and hemodynamic support
• Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses with precision to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance
• Respond rapidly to life-threatening emergencies, performing advanced procedures such as code response, airway management, and resuscitation
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to support recovery and informed decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• NCLEX-RN successfully passed (or NCLEX study is in progress as a minimum)
• English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
• Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
• Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
