We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in Timnath, CO (80547)
A family in Timnath, CO is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and attentive babysitter for their infant son. The baby was born prematurely and requires gentle, knowledgeable care from someone patient, observant, and willing to learn and to follow family’s guidance and expectations.
Start date: ASAP
Length of Position: Ongoing (as-needed)
Days needed: Between Monday–Sunday (flexible)
- Hours: 4 hours per visit
- As early as 9 AM to as late as 8 or 9 PM
- No guaranteed weekly hours
Rate: $25–$30 per hour
1 Child: 1 boy, born late April 2025
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant (premature)
- Change diapers and handle feedings
- Assist with naps and bedtime routines
- Swaddle and soothe as needed
- Maintain a safe, calm environment
- Keep daily notes/logs of care provided, for family reference
- Follow family’s care instructions and be open to coaching
- Allow family dog outside occasionally (when she rings the bell)
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum 2 years of experience caring for infants
- CPR and First Aid certification or willing to become certified
- Ability to pass a background and social media check
- Can provide two professional childcare-related references
- Comfortable around pets (medium-sized, friendly dog)
Preferred:
- Experience caring for premature infants
- Patient, calm demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Coachable and communicative
Compensation
This position pays $25–$30 per hour, based on experience. The family is looking for occasional/backup care or date night coverage, as needed (approximately 4 hours per day; flexible schedule).
