This position is located in Fort Benton, Montana! 

Wolfe Ford of Fort Benton is looking for an experienced Senior Master Tech to join our team. You will play a crucial role in terms of the customer experience in conducting diagnostic procedures to determine vehicle maintenance requirements, provide accurate repair recommendations and complete the repairs to the customers satisfaction.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
  • Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devises such as motor analyzers, handheld computers and chassis charts to determine how to address problems
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of light to medium duty vehicles
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour costs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.

 

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications: 

  • Ford and/or GM Dealership Experience Required 
  • ACE Certification Preferred 
  • Diesel and transmission repair experience preferred
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and using power and hand-held equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
