Safety Coordinator 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting management in meeting Safety Goals
• Assisting management in the implementation and compliance with all Safety rules and OSHA Regulations
• Monitoring production employees and supervisors to ensure all safety procedures are being performed adequately and in accordance with plant policies
• Facilitating Safety Committee
• Developing and enforcing Occupational Safety Policies
• Directing accident investigation procedures
• Keeping records of safety data
• Intervening in unsafe activities or operations
• Conducting ongoing safety training for all plant employees
• Setting a good example regarding safety and all other plant polices
• Other duties as assigned

This is an on-site position.  This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualified candidates for the 2nd Shift Safety Coordinator position should possess the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills
• Available to work evening and night shift hours

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
