Hydrasearch, an affiliate of The Dixon Group is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Team in Stevensville, MD! As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for inspecting and approving incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they align with engineering drawings and specifications. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and has a strong background in inspection, measurement, and metrology.

🚚 What You'll Do:
- Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using height gages, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measurement tools.
- Document inspection results through reports, logs, and database entries, including rework and scrap tracking.
- Support production teams by communicating nonconformances and required adjustments.
- Maintain and verify proper operation of inspection equipment, coordinating calibration or repair when needed.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality systems and reduce rework.
🎯 What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related coursework preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing role is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of metrology and mechanical measurement equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience with CMM inspection highly desirable.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, reporting, and data entry.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
