If so, we invite you to join our Commercial Organization in Germany as a HR Business Partner (m/f/d) in our affiliate in Monheim am Rhein, Germany!
About the role
You act as a strategic and operational HR business partner to the business stakeholders that you support within the Patient Impact Germany organization. A significant part of your role involves close collaboration with the works council, particularly in the context of co-determination and information rights under §§ 80 and 87 of the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG). This includes topics such as hiring, internal transfers, working time arrangements, and social matters. You lead negotiations on works agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen), ensuring alignment between business needs and employee representation. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder interests and build trust with the works council is key to the success of this role.
Who you´ll work with
You will collaborate closely with business partners across Germany. Additionally, you will partner with the Talent Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development colleagues focusing on building a strong relationship with the works council and all mentioned talent departments.
What you´ll do
- You advise managers on all personnel-related and labor law matters and serve as the main contact for the works council regarding individual personnel actions, reorganizations, and labor law topics.
- You will focus on the collaboration with the works council to advise on, negotiate and implement co-determination processes, and ensures constructive, legally compliant communication between HR and employee representatives.
- You conduct discussions and negotiations with the works council on company regulations, works agreements, and change processes.
- You oversee end-to-end HR support, from onboarding to performance management, restructuring, and employee relations.
- You support reward processes in partnership with the Total Rewards & Operations team.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Completed studies in Human Resources, Business Law, or a comparable field – ideally experience or academic background in labor law or legal matters.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in HR Business Partnering, with a focus on works council collaboration and labor law.
- Solid knowledge of the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG) and labor law also experienced working with co-determination bodies and negotiating works agreements.
- Excellent change management and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive cultural transformation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and coaching capabilities.
- Proficiency in HR systems, data analytics, and digital HR tools.
