Job Responsibilities

  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement. 
  • Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and investigations. 
  • Represent the company for any unemployment claims. 
  • Facilitate and conduct training, including new hire orientation. 
  • Maintain proper records of employee attendance and assist with payroll duties to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Process check requests, deposits, loan request forms, and cash advance forms.
  • Interview and screen job applicants to fill job openings.
  • Coach, counsel and guide managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Complete understanding of MS Office suite
  • Good organizational skills with the desire to take initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Complete understanding of HRIS.
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to efficiently work in a time-driven environment
  • Ability to securely handle employee records.

Education & Experience Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field or the equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as an entry-level HR recruiter.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Specialist or a junior role.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for 8 – 10 hours.
