You will be joining our Environment Division, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK Water sector, working on the Northumbrian Water Frameworks to deliver projects across clean and wastewater schemes. Our team is experienced in successfully delivering a wide range of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach.
Purpose of the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will manage schemes involving Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation works.
You will oversee all aspects of project management including programme, quality, SHE compliance, cost control and client liaison. This role plays a key part in linking design, delivery, and commercial teams to achieve project KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of multiple projects across the framework, ensuring compliance with SHE and CDM regulations.
- Lead financial performance, with accountability for project Profit/Loss and accurate monthly reporting.
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes in collaboration with the Project Planner.
- Coordinate resources across departments, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Ensure accurate project documentation, risk assessments and progress reporting.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, demonstrating flexibility, resilience and integrity.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent.
- Strong project management experience within the water and/or sewage industry.
- A valid CSCS card and IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS).
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Commercial awareness and strong financial management skills.
