ASSISTANT COACH, TRACK & FIELD - THROWS bei Felician University

Felician University is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energic, enthusiastic and experienced athletics professional to serve as Assistant Coach for Track and Field, Throws The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach all aspects of that program at the University, with primary responsibility for teaching and training student-athletes in the throws events of shot-put, discus, hammer and javelin.

Position Type:

Part-time, 12-months, Exempt

Department:

Athletics 

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree requirement may be waived with significant relative practical coaching experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in Track and Field or related sport; strong written and verbal communications skills; proven ability to engage, motivate and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels; detail-oriented; ability to instruct skills associated track and field; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
