Position and Responsibilities

 

As a key member of the fuel services divisional management team, the director, regulatory compliance and licensing oversees regulatory compliance for the Fuel Services division (FSD). 

 

You will provide direct leadership in regulatory compliance and licensing for the Fuel Services Division.  You will manage and coordinate a consistent approach to all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality regulatory issues within the operating sections of FSD.  This includes divisional programs for environment, radiation protection, operating licence requirements and building regulatory relations.  Ensure consistency with Corporate polices with respect to the SHEQ requirements.   

 

 

 

Education and Qualifications

 

Requirements of the position:

  • Degree in environmental engineering or science discipline
  • Eight to ten years of experience in progressive leadership positions
  • A self-starter with excellent management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to translate strategies into long term plans
  • Commitment to continual improvement

•    Experience gained within the nuclear industry
