The Portfolio Controls Integration Lead to enhance project and portfolio performance by driving consistency, efficiency, and integration across planning, controls, and reporting functions. This senior role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring that systems, data, and reporting processes are aligned with business needs and that project teams are equipped to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standardize project intake, assessment, and setup processes.
  • Monitor planning horizons and ensure project start readiness.
  • Foster integration and collaboration across project controls disciplines to improve communication, alignment, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support project planning by defining controls management plans suited to project size, complexity, and risk.
  • Act as a key communication link between project teams, functional controls leads, and program management.
  • Analyze portfolio and project performance (critical path, forecasts, milestones, resourcing) and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Drive alignment between departmental and corporate reporting standards.

The role takes place in the Saskatoon office, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project controls, including estimating, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement and integration initiatives across complex project portfolios.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve critical issues.
  • Experience in portfolio governance, project prioritization, and performance management.
