Description
SSI is seeking Application Developers to work on a Navy program in Mechanicsburg, PA. Contract award spring 2026.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing and developing database driven IT applications in one or more software languages such at C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic (VB), .net, HTML/XML, Powerbuilder, and/or Delphi.
- Work independently with application code, backend processing, and user interface development.
- Perform standardized testing at the unit, integration and systemic levels to ensure accuracy to requirements
- Support related activities in managing the scope and milestones of the project and/or support of data warehousing, business analytics or ad hoc requests
- Ensure the project AGILE life cycle is being followed and best practices are being employed when writing code and managing tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer or information science-related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in a related information technology (IT) job.
- Must possess at least a Secret security clearance
- Minimum IAT II level certification is required
- Must be able to work onsite
