POSITION SUMMARY
The Early Childhood Services Program Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of services within the ECSS program. This position combines administrative support, service coordination, and data analysis to enhance program effectiveness and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The role requires collaboration across behavioral health and early childhood teams and reports jointly to the Director of Behavioral Health and the ECSS Site Program Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling ECSS services for children and families.
- Support outreach and engagement efforts with community partners and families.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure timely follow-up on referrals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
- Manage program records, including intake forms, consent documents, and service logs.
- Prepare reports, meeting agendas, and correspondence as needed
- Assist with grant documentation, compliance tracking, and audit preparation.
- Support onboarding and training logistics for new ECSS staff or interns.
- Collect, clean, and analyze program data to identify trends and service gaps.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in evaluating program outcomes and recommending improvements.
- Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or early childhood setting preferred.
Experience:
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage a variety of diverse and complex tasks and systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to assess challenges and develop creative, effective solutions
- Exceptional organization skills and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
