Support the Product Management Team in owning the development and management of games.
Apply industry knowledge to come up with creative approaches to analyzing data and making project and studio wide.
Analyze data, build automated reports, and work with the analytics team to get all necessary data to manage game metrics.
Assist in managing game economy, sales, push notifications, seasonal content, and user acquisition.
Evaluate industry, competitor, market, and technology trends as inputs into the roadmap.
Understand game metrics to inform hypotheses, and design A/B test experiments with clearly-defined and measurable goals.
Forecast KPI improvements for new features or live operation strategies.
Conduct deeper inquiries into player behavior, gameplay trends, monetization activity, payer conversion, churn, and retention by utilizing advanced data science methods such as regression methods, significance testing, statistical simulations, Bayesian inference, non-linear machine learning algorithms etc.
Extract and analyze data using SQL; creating reports in Tableau; and analyzing in Excel.
Requirements:
Master’s degree, or its equivalent, in Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, plus two (2) years of data analytics or related experience in mobile applications; analyzing large data sets to provide insight to business and operational challenges; creating data visualization reports using Tableau; collaborating with marketing teams to design, implementing and analyzing A/B testing; developing code for data analysis and various applications to implement marketing decisions; and statistical data and software reporting tools (such as SQL, SAS, R, Excel, etc.). Telecommuting permitted within state of CA.
