Description
Under the general direction of the CBS Customer Care Manager and working in coordination with the members of the “Setup Team” (i.e. customer service, account setup and cataloging) this position has responsibility for configuring the Brodart cataloging engine in order to accomplish customer cataloging & processing requirements. New account, maintenance and upgrades of cataloging & processing setups are required. The primary goal of this position is to meet customer expectations and advance company goals and objectives.
- Compose internal and external communication to resolve issues with high sense of urgency.
- Research and resolve customer account issues.
- Coordinate within the “Setup Team” and other departments as requested to balance setup/maintenance production flow.
- Interact with production teams in person.
Qualifications
- High School diploma and/or GED equivalent with one to two years of cataloging experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Brodart systems and process required.
- Extensive library or library-related cataloging experience with demonstrated cataloging competence at a level of proficiency and skills to established standards with five years of Brodart experience.
- Accomplished research and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Critical to multi-task and have excellent problem-solving skills; out-of-the-box thinker with excellent time management skills.
- Mature/responsible individual with a strong work ethic that can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to customize solutions with an understanding of available resources and impact to productivity.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to interact with people internally at all levels.
- Team and detail-oriented person with the ability to work in an integrated organization.
- Ability and willingness to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn job-related functions such as company computer systems and operation of specialized equipment and databases, primarily through oral instruction and observation, offered through on-the-job training.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of enterprise systems (i.e. Oracle).
- Must be able to type competently.
- Primarily an office environment; some direct production environment.
- The production environment is subject to varied temperatures and other conditions, such as noise (conveyor), dust and glue or adhesives.
- Close and distant vision, using hands and fingers to handle and feel, talk and hear, sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently.
- Standing and walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
