Job Description:The Director of Application Development will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications that support our marketing solutions business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of application development processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage the application development teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster professional growth and development. 30%
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Client Management, and product configuration, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality applications/client programs. 15%
· Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment and ongoing management. Ensure that applications/processes are developed using best practices and adhere to industry standards. 15%
· Provide operational management for activities including budgeting, recruiting, vendor management, mentoring, expectation/objective setting, and performance evaluation. 15%
· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. 10%
· Develop, implement and improve application development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. 10%
· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in application development to drive innovation and continuous improvement. 5%
Qualifications:EDUCATION
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
· Proven experience in application development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
· Good understanding or experience in Business Process Automation (BPA) and/or Customer Data Platform solutions is a plus.
Additional Information:Base Salary: $130,000-$175,000
Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.
