A Day in the Life

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They are able to partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and run and optimize operations.
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Principal Master Data Analyst to support the development and governance of master data management (MDM) across our materials managed service offerings. This role will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining robust master data standards across hospitals and partner sites, ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable information that underpins operational excellence and supply chain performance.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Help to establish and support the ongoing Master Data Management function for IHS Managed Services, creating a single source of truth for materials, suppliers, and catalogues across hospital sites
  • Define and maintain master data governance frameworks, including ownership models, validation rules, and change control processes
  • Manage the integrity and alignment of data across systems such as GHX and Business Central ERP, ensuring consistency between catalogue data, item masters, and transactional records
  • Lead data preparation, cleansing, and standardisation for new site activations, integrations, and migrations
  • Develop and implement data quality KPIs and reporting dashboards to track completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, operations, and hospital stakeholders to ensure materials master data reflects clinical, operational, and financial realities
  • Support procurement and inventory management processes by ensuring catalogue data is accurate, standardised, and aligned with sourcing and contract information

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Master Data Analyst, Data Governance Lead, or Principal Data Specialist, ideally within healthcare supply chain or materials management
  • Deep understanding of master data principles, catalogue management, and data governance in complex operational environments
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and product catalogue platforms such as GHX
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capability in data reconciliation, validation, and reporting
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills across both internal and customer facing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build new data processes from the ground up
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, integrity, and compliance
