Responsibilities
- Manage daily transportation operations, leveraging Transportation Management Software Tools to drive efficiency
- Develop proactive, cost-effective logistics solutions tailored to customer needs
- Build and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive business expansion
- Stay ahead of industry trends to identify new opportunities and competitive advantages
- Negotiate competitive rates across multiple transportation modes (Air, Ocean, Rail, Road)
- Monitor and manage shipment tracking, tracing, and appointment scheduling
- Collaborate closely with customers, carriers, internal teams, and third-party providers to ensure seamless execution
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support operational continuity
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; a focus in Business Administration or Commerce is an asset
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the transportation industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- A customer-focused mindset with a proven ability to deliver on commitments and grow client relationships
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
