The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receiving, scheduling, documenting, and assigning service calls to vendors and staff;
- Assisting the Maintenance Supervisor, Construction Manager, Facilities Manager, and Vice President, Facilities, with facility maintenance and repair;
- Assisting with managing various renovation projects for existing facilities;
- Assisting with opening new facilities;
- Ensuring clean work areas for patients and staff;
- Ensuring that all requests for repair of Patient First property are performed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, including, but not limited to, grounds and landscape, driveways and sidewalks, building structure, exterior and interior finishes, and equipment;
- Coordinating all scheduled maintenance service calls with the appropriate center staff.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Experience in equipment or facility repair and maintenance;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and ability to work within deadlines;
- Must be able to lift heavy items (50 lbs. or more);
- Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs safely. E. Familiar with OSHA Safety Regulations;
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb for long periods of time (possibly 4-7 hours at a time);
- Ability to work a flexible schedule;
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all centers in a region without supervision;
- Willing to travel to and work at different Patient First facilities to address emergency or repair situations.
