The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you’re driven to make a difference in the lives of young adults and help them reach their full potential, we want to meet you.
Grafton Job Corps Center is a federally funded program and assist students ages 16-24 with receiving the education, career skills and credentials they need to become successful members of the workforce.
The Maintenance Technician position focuses on daily maintenance duties for all buildings on the Center grounds. There may also be days where driving students in our vans is another additional responsibility to assist with transportation needs. CDL is not required for this position. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
Schedule: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay is $23.18 per hour

Position Summary
Assists in providing preventative and ongoing maintenance of Center facility, grounds and systems.
Assists in Center beautification and daily maintenance of Center grounds.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one year
experience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred. Working knowledge
of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systems
preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability
requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,
carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the
ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
