Pay: $20- $25 an hour- Full-time
Requirements
- Willing and able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
- At least 1+ years of supervisory experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, or similar fields.
- Al least 1+ year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, pesticide application
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
- Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks.
- Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment.
- Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others.
- Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
While each project is different, the crew leader's responsibilities encompass the following:
- Mow, string trim, prune stormwater ponds.
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
- Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
- Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
- Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
- Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
- Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.
- Overnight travel within and to nearby States is required 50%-75% of the time.
Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:
- Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
- Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
- Backpack blowers and sprayers
- Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
