Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one or classroom support to students in our specialized program for individuals with multiple disabilities. This role is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by fostering their growth and development. Assignment 7 hours/day 5 days/week 188 days/year Champaign County Start Date ASAP Minimum Qualifications  Valid ODE Aide Permit (may apply after being selected) Experience with students with disabilities preferred- will train the right candidate Satisfactory results on criminal records check  Candidate must be credentialed in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, OR be able to attend training and pass the test Key Qualities of a Successful Candidate Patience, Compassion, and Empathy Professionalism Strong Organizational Skill Excellent Communication Skills Servant Leadership Spirit What We Offer A supportive and collaborative work environment.
