Facilities Coordinator - Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Monitors routine and preventative maintenance activities to ensure utilities, environmental systems and other building systems operate properly and efficiently. Position provides clerical support by performing various administrative responsibilities such as maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Conducts other Facilities special projects as assigned. Position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education Required:
- High School Diploma required.
Minimum Work Experience Preferred:
- Previous maintenance/engineering experience preferred
- Must be able to read and write English required
- Ability to communicate with employees, physicians, patients and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Excellent computer skills
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, proven problem solving and experience in providing administrative support in facilities environment.
Other requirements:
- Clean DMV record required
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Foundation Development
- Provides administrative support to the Facilities Department
- Types correspondence, reports, memoranda, special projects, and technical data for department staff as required
- Updates project management program and all Facilities related computer based systems
- Receives and screens telephone calls, mail and contractor site visits
