🕒 Shift Hours: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
💲 Pay Range: $17 - $19 per hour

The Dixon Group is looking for an Assembler to join our team in Chestertown, MD! We're looking for a reliable individual with a positive attitude and a strong mechanical aptitude to help us build top-quality products. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the quality and timely assembly of various components, utilizing small hand tools and/or production machinery. While one year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn and committed to doing precise work. 🔧 What You'll Do:
- Assemble high-quality mechanical components with care and precision.
- Perform detailed quality checks to ensure every product meets our high standards.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in every step of the production process.
- Use computer systems to record production data and track progress.
- Keep a strong focus on efficiency, product quality, and accuracy to help deliver the best to our customers.
🎯 What We're Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude: Comfortable working with tools, parts, and mechanical components.
- Basic math skills: Able to perform addition and subtraction accurately to support production needs.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs. regularly during a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work environment: Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Consistency and focus: Capable of completing repetitive motions while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Manual dexterity: Able to handle and assemble small parts and components efficiently.
- Tool operation: Proficient in using hand tools and basic machining equipment safely.
- Teamwork and communication: Able to follow written and verbal instructions and report any issues or non-conformances promptly.
