General Statement:
Under general direction, the Manager of Medical Operations develops, manages, and oversees the adult and child psychiatric medication clinic/program operations and services, Specialty Health Services, OBRA, and Behavioral Health Home, including the direct supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff. Develops and implements operational, administrative, and clinical policies, procedures, standards, and objectives; serves in a consultative and collaborative role to other programs, to management, and to community-based providers; participates in strategic planning; develops and monitors clinic/program budgets and work plans; performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant education program. | State of Michigan licensed Physician Assistant (PA). | Three (3) years mental health clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities, including assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention. |

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. | Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan. | Five (5) years combined nursing and mental health clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. |

Additional Requirements:
Must be willing and able to work occasional evening/weekend hours.
Must be able to provide management cross coverage within other programs of GHS when needed.
Preferences:
Prior management/supervisory experience in a multi-practitioner practice preferred.
Experience with both child and adult populations is desirable.
Essential Physical Demands:
- Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Lifting, Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations:
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis
- Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time
